Breaking News: 20 victims, multiple shooters in San Bernardino, California, attackers in 'military style' attire, 3 armed suspects at the large, reports.
SAN BERNARDINO -- Police in San Bernardino, California, are responding to reports of an active shooter at a social services facility and have confirmed multiple fatalities. The San Bernardino Fire Department says there are reports of 20 victims.
According to CNN, witnesses told police they saw three men with long guns, according to a law enforcement source. The source said the suspects got into a black SUV and drove away.
The incident is happening at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino. The center has 670 employees and provides social services to people with developmental disabilities.
CBS News is reporting that the bomb squad is on scene attempting to neutralize an explosive device. Dozens of people filed out of the scene, holding their hands in their air. Other people were seen being wheeled away on gurneys.
The San Bernardino Police Department confirms that there are 1 to 3 possible suspects.
Terry Petit says he got a text from his daughter saying she was hiding after gunfire erupted. Petit choked back tears Wednesday as he read the texts for reporters outside Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino.
He says she wrote: “People shot. In the office waiting for cops. Pray for us. I am locked in an office.”
Police searched people filing out of a building with their hands up before they reunited with loved ones. Ambulances and law enforcement vehicles are racing through the area with sirens blaring. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is urging everyone to stay away from the area. Source

Paris Terror Attacks: 120 Dead, 8 Attackers Killed
VIDEO [CC] - Exclusive: Paris terror attacks, at least 153 killed in gunfire and blasts, French officials say in Paris.
CNN PARIS - On a night when thousands of Paris residents and tourists were reveling and fans were enjoying a soccer match between France and world champion Germany, horror struck in an unprecedented manner.
Terrorists - some with AK 47s, some reportedly with bombs strapped to them - attacked sites throughout the French capital and at the stadium where the soccer match was underway.
Scores were killed in the coordinated attacks late Friday, leaving a nation in mourning and the world in shock. CNN will update this story as information comes in: [Latest developments, posted at 11:59 p.m. ET]
• Paris Prosecutor spokeswoman Agnès Thibault-Lecuivre said eight extremists are dead after attacks. Seven of them were killed in suicide bombings.
• U.S. President Barack Obama spoke with French President Francois Hollande to offer condolences and assistance in the investigation, the White House said. Earlier, Obama said, "This is an attack not just on Paris, not just on the people on France, but an attack on all humanity and the universal values we share." He called the attacks an "outrageous attempt to terrorize innocent civilians."
• A total of six locations were attacked in and just outside the capital, Paris prosecutor François Molins told reporters Saturday.
“Paris has been hit again by terror tonight,” Deputy Mayor Patrick Klugman said on Twitter.
• Five suspected attackers have been "neutralized," said Molins. It was unclear whether that term meant the terrorists were dead.
• A witness tells Radio France that attackers inside the Bataclan concert hall entered firing rifles and shouting "Allah akbar."
• At least 153 people were killed in the Paris and Saint-Denis shootings and bombings, French officials said. Saint-Denis is home to the national stadium where the soccer match was being played.
• The worst carnage occurred at Bataclan, with at least 112 left dead. A journalist who was at a rock concert there escaped and told CNN: "We lied down on the floor not to get hurt. It was a huge panic.
The terrorists shot at us for 10 to 15 minutes. It was a bloodbath." Julien Pearce didn't hear the attackers speak, but he said one friend who escaped heard them talk about Iraq and Syria. Later, he said the men were speaking French. Two men dressed in black started shooting and after wounded people fell to the floor, the gunmen shot them again, execution-style, he said ... Cop Runs Over Deaf Dog 3 Times, Then Shoots
VIDEO: Deaf News - Canadian cop runs over old, Deaf dog 3 times, then shoots her, the community outraged.
COLLINGWOOD, ONTARIO - Merrick, a beloved family dog who just happened to be Deaf had managed to make it all the way to 21 years of age.
Still, she never lost her talent for sniffing out an adventure. When a storm blew open the back gate at her home in Collingwood, just north of Toronto, the old dog ventured off into the night.
But then in an unexpected and tragic turn, Merrick was run over three times by a police cruiser before she was finally shot dead.
Her crime? Police thought she was a coyote. In fact, she was a cattle dog. The disturbing Monday night encounter was captured on video.
This is not a humane method to euthanize an animal in any situation. It is reported that this animal did not move when nudged by the officers car before the officer decided to run it down three times before shooting it.
Karen Sutherland, the dog's owner, told reporters that Merrick suffers from dementia, and had slipped through a gate in her backyard during a storm.
"I'm a little bit in shock ... I didn't watch the video until Wednesday morning. It was enough to make me a lot more upset than I was last night," Sutherland told CityNews.
Christine Soti, a Collingwood resident who witnessed the incident, told the Globe and Mail that Merrick was still moving after being hit by the car a third time. "The eyes were opening and closing."
In the wake of Merrick's killing, police are facing tough questions about how officers deal with animal situations.
The Ontario Provincial Police did not immediately return a call to The Dodo, but Inspector John Trude told Postmedia Network that there had been complaints from two residents about a coyote on the loose.
"When the officer got there, it was growling," he said. "The actions of the dog caused the officer to believe it was still aggressive... Read More: https://thedodo.com/merrick-dog-shot-police-canada.html
