Deaf Awareness: 'Love Language' Short Film

VIDEO [CC/SIGNED] - Deaf Awareness: 'Love Language' Short Film.

This video was re-created to spread awareness to the American Society of Deaf Children within my community. There are moments in life when we feel a connection so deep words can hardly describe it. But how do we know that it's real?

This is the story of a boy who meets a girl and falls in love.

(Please do not continue reading until after you watch the video!)

The Jubilee Project makes films for good causes. This film was produced to raise awareness and support for the American Society for Deaf Children. There are two ways that you can support this cause. This video was created for a School Public Service Announcement for the school. Originally made by The Jubilee Project, all credit goes to them for the story content within this film.

I would also like to take the time to forward you to their website where you can buy the song used "Peaches" by: New Heights for $1.00 and your dollar will go straight to the donation of the American Society of Deaf Children. Please visit that link here: http://jubileeproject.bandcamp.com/track/peaches

Deaf Theatre: Message By Canadian Deaf Actors

VIDEO [ASL/CC] - Deaf Theatre: Message by Canadian Deaf actors and director.

We are part of The Northern Lights Theatre (Deaf Theatre project) with European's Deaf actors and directors. Currently, Canada does not have a "Deaf Theatre".

The director, Liz, is asking Deaf organizations and people to help and donate some money toward Canada's funding. Currently, We do not have any money because many grants don't see her Deaf actors as professional yet.

This project is their first step of setting up the future Canada's Deaf Theatre. More details at The Northern Lights Theatre and/or www.Actor-ElizabethMorris.com for more informations.

I am here to raise funds for ESD (Evangelical School for the Deaf). AND to inspire the Deaf community in Puerto Rico.

My volunteers & I plan to travel to a Deaf school in Puerto Rico to raise Deaf Awareness & Culture. We will be interacting with Deaf Puerto Ricans within the Deaf Community. We hope by sharing our personal stories of accomplishments, we hope to inspire them to believe that they can aspire to achieve anything they dream! My mother is hearing, Puerto Rican, and a perfect role model for the hearing parents of Deaf children. She is fluent in English, Spanish and American Sign Language. My mother will be educating and inspiring families on building relationships and better communication with their deaf child through lectures and presentations.

Would you kindly consider making a small donation for the Deaf community in Puerto Rico? Our goal and purpose is to encourage a better education system and a better Deaf awareness so that we can ensure a better future for every child within the Deaf communities of Puerto Rico!
